This is the Wrenn W.5088 standard "British Gas" Hopper Wagon in grey, running number 142. Introduced by Basildon in Period 4 it is one of the most popular amongst collectors for freight operations on "OO Gauge" layouts. The Hopper Wagon comes complete with Period 4 Long Box (W7304 type)  and yellow split plastic insert with yellow cardboard packing pieces correct for this era. The reverse colour of the cardboard packing pieces matching the grey box interior. As will all Period 4 Wagons it has metal rimmed wheels.

Condition of the Wagon/Box is "near mint to mint"
