This is a superb Wrenn W2224A 2-8-0 8F Locomotive in BR Black with the rare running number 48290. Introduced by Wrenn in Period 4 (circa 1983) only just ove 400 were produced before Basildon closure in 1992. Like all Wrenn 8F,s this is excellent for freight operations on any "OO Gauge" Layout.

The Locomotive/tender comes complete with Period 4 box, tissue, packing rings and Instruction Manual. The box is stamped both ends "W2224A 2-8-0 FREIGHT B.R.BLACK NO. 48290".The underneath of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 3 06623", denoting 23rd day, sixth month, and 1986 as year of manufacture.

Condition of Locomotive/tender and box is "excellent " for their age.
