This is a superb example of the Wrenn W.2287 "Westward Ho" West Country Locomotive in BR Green, running number 34036. Only 280 of these Locomotives were produced by Wrenn, Basildon before closure in 1992. 

The Locomotive/tender come complete in a Period 4 box, which includes packing rings, tissue and blue Instruction Manual.The top box ends are correctly stamped W.2287 W/C "WESTWARD HO" B.R. GREEN. The stamp on the underneath of the inner box is "81250" indicating 50th Week, 12 month, 1988 as date of Basildon manufacture.

Condition of the Locomotive/Tender is "mint", the box is "near mint to mint" for their age.
