This is an excellent example of the Wrenn W2220 GWR 2-6-4 Tank Locomotive in Great Western Green Livery, running number 8230. Introduced by Wrenn, Basildon in Period 3 this was produced into Period 4. This particular example is from the Period 3 era, and differs from many examples in that it has seen virtually no layout running.

The Tank Locomotive comes in a Period 3 box, which includes tissue, packing rings, and Instruction Manual. The box is correctly labelled "W2220 2-6-4 TANK G.W.R." and has the familiar sellotape marks which determine this era.

Condition of the Tank/box are "near mint" for their age.
