This is the Wrenn W2215 0-6-2 Tank Locomotive in LMS Black, running number 2385. Introduced by Basildon in Period 2 this continued in production untill 1987 (Period 4). Although just under 3000 were produced, it is not that common to find, and when located examples are badly "playworn" and unboxed. This is not the case with this example which is superb and includes original  Period 3 box, tissue, packing rings, Instruction Sheet and Hornby Dublo coupling conversion kit..The underneath of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 6" in red ink and has the familiar sellotape marks which is correct for this period. 

Condition of the Locomotive is "mint" box is "excellent to near mint" for its age.
