This is a superb example of the Hornby Dublo EDL17 BR Black N2 Tank Locomotive running number 69567. It has the early BR crest and is the non coal version. Introduced by Meccano, Liverpool in 1954 this concluded production in 1961. This is one of the later issues. Most examples from this era are badly "play worn", this is not and has not seen any layout use in my opinion. Essential for the collection or suburban traffic (passenger or freight) on your OO gauge layout.

Comes complete in original box with cardboard packing pieces and "Instructions for Running Hornby Dublo Electric Trains" manual. Bottom of the inner box is factory stamped LM 1727.

Condition is "near mint" considering age.
