This is a Hybrid of an original Hornby Dublo EDL2 finished body in black satin running number "1215" coupled with a Wrenn City chassis and 5 Pole Motor. Livery is Black LMS with yellow/red highlighted numbers and lettering. Wrenn tender coupling fitted as standard however I have included H/D coupling for conversion if required. For 2 Rail operation. Diecast body and tender throughout with "metal rimmed" bogie and tender wheels for smooth running a standard feature used by Wrenn, Basildon from the Mid  Period 2 (Triang/Wrenn) and 3/4 eras.

Origin of this Locomotive body is not  known, however I believe Meccano had a second generation of Canadian Pacifics planned before they closed in the mid 1960,s.This may have been one of a few prototypes planned.

The Locomotive comes complete with the front "cow catcher" in tact, includes H/D coupling conversion kit, tissue and blue Hobby Box.
