The  W2237 "Lyme Regis" 4-6-2 Locomotive in Southern Region Green is unique in the Wrenn range as it was the only Rebuilt which Wrenn produced in this colour. Running number is 21C109. In reality of course it never ran in this livery, however, it really looks impressive in the collection or on the layout drawing Wrenn Southern Coaches/Pullmans.

Introduced in Period 3,(circa 1973)  although just over 3000 were produced, this was mainly in Period 3, and Period 4 examples are becoming difficult find today without being  "play worn". This  example is not has seen minimal layout use  from the 1981/2.Basildon production build in my opinion....

The Locomotive comes in a  Period 4 box,, and includes packing rings, tissue,  and blue Instruction Manual. The  underneath of the inner box is stamped "Packer No 6" in red ink indicating early Period 4 Wrenn, Basildon 3 issue.. 

Overall Condition of the Locomotive/tender/box is  " near mint  ", for their age.

 YOU WILL FIND IT DIFFICULT TO FIND A BETTER EXAMPLE!
