This is a superb example of the Wrenn W2247 "Clun Castle" in GWR Green, running number 7029. Introduced by Wrenn, Basildon in Period 3, with major production of this Loco taking place in this Period. This example is from the 1st period of 1989 and  believe less than 100 were issued by Wrenn, Basildon before closure in 1992. It has the later bright orange lining, which is synominous with these late Wrenn Castle Locomotives. All transfers and lining in place and has seen minimal layout use in my opinion.

This locomotive is difficult to find today in  this condition and is therefore  becoming rare in my opinion.

Locomotive and tender come complete with late P4 box, tissue, packing rings, and blue instruction Manual. The underneath of the inner box has a "Packer No 2 89310" stamp  indicating 1st Week, 13rd Month 1989 as date of Basildon issue

Condition of the Loco/tender/box is " near mint for their age
