Although the W2205 BR Tank Locomotive is one of the most common that the Wrenn Basildon Factory produced, I have never seen one in its original Factory sealed box - UNOPENED. This was purchased at a recent Lacy Scot & Knight auction, advertised as factory sealed, and I have no reason to disagree with that statement. I am not the owner of this but selling on behalf of a friend. I would place the original Basildon issue date as 1978/9 prior to the start of Period 4.

AS A WRENN COLLECTOR MYSELF I DO NOT PROPOSE TO OPEN THE BOX AND THAT WILL BE UP TO THE PURCHASER TO CHOSE THAT OPTION OR KEEP IN THE SAME CONDITION IN THEIR COLLECTION!
